This book provides an understanding of the aspects of mapping the girl's journey towards self-confidence, mastery, and behavioral competence in sandplay for both new and seasoned practitioners. Two clinical case studies, a compelling heroine's tale, and experiential exercises illustrate and complement the mandala mapping practice therapeutically.

Über den Autor

Rosalind Heiko, Ph.D., RPT-S, ISST, CST-T, NCSP (aka Dr. Roz), is a registered play therapist - supervisor, sandplay teacher, and an approved consultant in Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), and holds national certification in School Psychology (NCSP). She directs Pediatric & Family Psychology, P.A., in Cary, NC, specializing in working with trauma in children and families for over 35 years. She travels nationally and internationally, training therapists working with children and families. Dr. Roz is the founder of NC Sandplay Training, a past Board of Trustees Member of the Sandplay Therapists of America, has published chapters in several notable play therapy books as well as in the peer-reviewed Journal of Sandplay Therapy.
