Miles Wright followed the path of self enquiry, guided by the question 'Who am I?' (Atma Vichara), right to the end. Over the course of the 2000s, he set up several online groups and forums dedicated to Ramana Maharshi to facilitate discussion, where he answered countless questions about this path and published many posts.
He passed away unexpectedly in January 2026. This volume is dedicated to his memory. It contains his three books: his annotated translation of Ramana Maharshi's 'Upadesa Saram' (Essence of Spiritual Instruction), 'Talks on Self Enquiry' and 'More Talks on Self Enquiry', as well as his annotated translations of Ramana's 'Arunachala Pancharatna', 'Essence of the Bhagavad Gita', 'Amritabindu Upanishad', parts of Vivekacudamani, and other short Sanskrit texts together with his bachelor's thesis in Sanskrit and linguistics on the philosophy of Bhartrhari, all of which relate to self enquiry.
As Miles was also a painter, the book is richly illustrated with his pictures. In addition, some of his friends have their say.
