Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the Headquarters, Branches and Services Commander Royal Engineers, 62nd Division, covering January 1917 to August 1919 across 87 pages. It names 46 places across 61 dated entries.

The diary opens at Redford Calais on 2 January 1917. 1917 is spent at Achiet Le Grand, Monument Commomoratif, Bus-Les-Artois, Haplincourt and Ercheu-Le-Grand. 1918 is the most travelled year, 27 places against 17 in the next busiest, and is spent at Tincques Ecuire, Courcelles-le-Couple, Estourmel and Authie. 1919 at Duren, Schleiden and Clipstone. It closes at Clipstone on 31 August 1919. Achiet Le Grand is where it spent longest, 104 days, including a single unbroken stay of 104 and it came back to Monument Commomoratif four separate times.

In 1917 it is also recorded at Engelbelmer, Meraucourt, Achiet-le-Petit, Fosseux, Barastre, Neuville, Basseux, St. Catherines, Labeuvriere and Meugouil. In 1918 it is also recorded at Mingoval, St Catherine, Tincques, Darlus, Fonquevillers, Souastre, Henu, Tours, Bisseuil and Gommecourt. In 1919 it is also recorded at Duren Germany.
