Über den Autor
Dr. Laura Labay graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, then obtained a master's degree and PhD in toxicology from the University of Rochester. After graduation, she worked for several years at the NYPD forensic laboratory before starting at NMS Labs. Dr. Labay has reviewed thousands of cases, performed countless interpretations, and testified in legal proceedings throughout the country. She also holds two board certifications, one from the American Board of Forensic Toxicology and one from the American Association of Clinical Chemistry in Toxicological Chemistry. Dr. Labay loves all things academic and devotes time to teaching and research in forensic toxicology at the Center for Forensic Science Research and Education as well presenting at national and local science and forensic conferences.
