Über den Autor
Andrew Brown is Assistant National Finds Advisor for Iron Age and Roman Coinage with the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme. He holds a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Bristol and has conducted research in the UK and the Mediterranean region. Andrew worked as Finds Liaison Officer with Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service before taking up post at the British Museum in 2016 to specialise in numismatics. His current research focuses on ancient coinage in Britain, its use, loss, and interpretation.
