Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the Headquarters, Branches and Services Royal Army Ordnance Corps Deputy Assistant Director Ordnance Services, 50th Division, covering August 1915 to May 1919 across 172 pages. It names 64 places across 94 dated entries.

The diary opens at Pont-De-Nieppe on 1 August 1915. 1915 is spent at Pont-De-Nieppe, Merris and Poperinghe. 1916 at Westoutre, Poperinghe, Near Fricourt Hunde Cannas, Montigny and Fletre. 1917 at Boisleaux Au Mont, Albert Somme, Boisleux Au Mont, Mericourt Sur Somme and Couturelle. 1918 is the most travelled year, 29 places against 22 in the next busiest, and is spent at Brandhoek, Martin Eglise, Beaurieux, Wizernes and Doullens. 1919 at Le Quesnoy and Landrears. It closes at Landrears on 30 May 1919. Le Quesnoy is where it spent longest, 133 days across five separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Pont-De-Nieppe.
